England knocked back Maddison after last season, I don't think Lingard is getting another look in. Especially at a smaller club than Leicester (I really wish there was a Forest fan on here for that drive by :()

Legend has it that you’ve won as many Premier League titles as Liverpool.

What am I missing with Broja? Only scored 6 goals last season but gets talked up a lot.
Watched him a couple times last year and I think there is definitely a quality player in there, only 20 years old, in terms of value not sure, but players are overpriced all the time all over the world.

The world cup squads have been increased to 26. It will give Southgate an opportunity to pick 18 defenders.
18?
Did he suddenly become more attacking?

I like Broja. He's 6 foot 3, can hold off defenders, can finish. Last season he was Southampton's leading goal scorer in all comps after Ward-Prowse, who takes the set pieces. There's only upside. It remains to be seen whether he's the next Harry Kane or the next Aleksandar Mitrovic.

It genuinely seems like they’re just banking on someone bailing them out later because ‘they’re too big to fail’, or the people selling everything off are planning on being gone by the time it hits the fan.

Even more unbelievable is their fans seem happy about it.

The fans are indoctrinated into the Barca way. It's like a cult.

They aren’t banking on a bail out, they are banking on the Super League.

And there will be fans on this board siding with them in the not too distant future.

I think some form of super league will eventually happen, but it’s a massive gamble to take if that’s the plan. They’d be putting their entire existence in the hand of the English clubs.

Dwight Gayle joins Stoke. One of those players you forget exists and has probably been sat collecting wages as a 5th choice striker for afew years.
