Yep, I doubt many rich people would give their boss/company 17 million or whatever he's owed. Even if they like the job such as frenkie likes the club and city

I guess , from the Barca perspective there is no rush to get the deal done(?). As long as they can register the players /new players ; They hope fdj or united fold

As Bojan said, not likely we would have spent so much time on this transfer if there was no way FDJ would want to come to the club. But he’s also not going to complete a transfer to another club when he knows he would be losing his missing wages. It’s a mess of a situation.

I have to call bs on this claim. Clearly Barca are paying him his contracted wage right now otherwise he would terminate his contract once they got 60 days behind in payments as is his right The signing on bonuses as a freebie would then be huge and see him better off financially than if he seen out his contract.
