He wasn't great, but he's a #10 and Moyes played him as a LW.

I felt like he was worth giving another go, but Moyes has had enough of him and Benrahma who might be off to Forest.

Transfermarkt had his value as 30m pounds (35m euros) as of last month. To me, that seems about right. He is a German international, just 26 years old and 2 years into a 5 year contract.


But good to get him off the book either way. Loaning players that don't have a future seems pointless.

Could be helpful on FFP figures for all clubs if they change hands for roughly the same value too. All will get a 80m boost on their current books with just a 16m hit on this year's books (assuming they all get new 5 year contracts).

Nah, He played there a bit last season, over the preseason and even on the weekend. He's not bad at it either, which lucky as we have no other option than a cooked azpi.

His contract was for 250-300k per week. Barca paid him 60k per week last season. 470k per week is the deferred amount added on to the original number. Nothing criminal about it.
