Pedri and Gavi are very highly rated so it's not a massive shock to see him miss the best 11 imo.

There’s a touch of irony that LVG talked Timber out of coming to United because if he doesn’t play regularly for the club, he won’t be selected for the World Cup. He has the opposite problem with FDJ now. Barcelona look like they’ve turned their backs on him and at United, he will start every week.

In a vacuum Martinez. Casemiro. Eriksen. Antony and the dutch kid would be seen as a very decent window by many teams

Gavi is ranked as the 2nd most valuable teen ever (after fati previously ... Who's behind dembele. Lwski. Raphinha..) And gets games for Spain

Pedri is near world class and is also very young...

Unless you slot him in at RB or the 6. Or xavi plays a funky formation where does he fit in.

Kessie is by most accounts, really good.
