Living proof that development isn't a one size fits all policy. We got slagged off for a good few years for supposedly holding Foden back.

Loads of comparisons between him and Sancho, and how Sancho made the right choice by leaving, Foden made the wrong choice by staying.

Reckon his path through to where he is now (with a lot more still ahead) has been pretty good.

He will be among the best players of his generation IMO.

I dont know about that. Foden and Sancho are both uber talented. Stay or go, they were always going to develop into really good players.

Makes me wonder why so many people were adamant that Sancho made the right choice by leaving and Foden made the wrong choice by staying.

Weird that Sancho hasn't then.

MLS is a pretty high level these days.

Yep, the improvement of the US men's National Team is testament to that fact

Tyler Adams, who has been Leeds best signing so far, started his career in the MLS
.

As did Jack Harrison.

MLS is getting better but it's still miles beneath Messi. He still has 2-3 years at the top of the game in Europe. He will go for plenty of records in that time that he is chasing as well you would think. I reckon he wants Ronaldo's CL scoring record which he is pretty close to getting. Need 12 more.

He plays in France tho.

Yeah which is still in the top 5 leagues in the world. PL, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue One.

Messi would still dominate any league though. He's far from cooked, not like Ronaldo, and that's fine Ronaldo is 2-3 years older than Messi so I'd expect Messi to go downhill too in 2-3 years. Although having said that, his game translates better into late career as he doesnt rely on athleticism like Ronaldo does for example.

Considering there are 3 Portuguese teams left in the UCL versus 1 French team, the Portuguese League will overtake France.
