We need a proper 9 mate. He's not it. Bit of a luxury player really.100% happy for United to go after him.

If we kept him we'd still need another number 9.Ronny is a proper #9 isnt he? Said he wants to play at Euro 24. May as well sign a 2 year extension.

He will be among the best players of his generation IMO.Living proof that development isn't a one size fits all policy. We got slagged off for a good few years for supposedly holding Foden back.
Loads of comparisons between him and Sancho, and how Sancho made the right choice by leaving, Foden made the wrong choice by staying.
Reckon his path through to where he is now (with a lot more still ahead) has been pretty good.
I dont know about that. Foden and Sancho are both uber talented. Stay or go, they were always going to develop into really good players.Living proof that development isn't a one size fits all policy. We got slagged off for a good few years for supposedly holding Foden back.

Makes me wonder why so many people were adamant that Sancho made the right choice by leaving and Foden made the wrong choice by staying.I dont know about that. Foden and Sancho are both uber talented. Stay or go, they were always going to develop into really good players.

Ooft... deep burn.Weird that Sancho hasn't then.

Not going to happen Messi can still play at a high level.![]()
Inter Miami 'increasingly confident of signing Lionel Messi'
Messi is under contract at PSG until next summer but speculation has continued to rage over his future should he not sign a new deal with the French giants.www.dailymail.co.uk
Interesting
12 games in the league for 7 goals 10 assists. Not going to happen Messi can still play at a high level.
MLS is a pretty high level these days.
Yep, the improvement of the US men's National Team is testament to that fact
Tyler Adams, who has been Leeds best signing so far, started his career in the MLS
.
MLS is getting better but it's still miles beneath Messi. He still has 2-3 years at the top of the game in Europe. He will go for plenty of records in that time that he is chasing as well you would think. I reckon he wants Ronaldo's CL scoring record which he is pretty close to getting. Need 12 more.
Yeah which is still in the top 5 leagues in the world. PL, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue One.He plays in France tho.
Considering there are 3 Portuguese teams left in the UCL versus 1 French team, the Portuguese League will overtake France.Yeah which is still in the top 5 leagues in the world. PL, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue One.
Messi would still dominate any league though. He's far from cooked, not like Ronaldo, and that's fine Ronaldo is 2-3 years older than Messi so I'd expect Messi to go downhill too in 2-3 years. Although having said that, his game translates better into late career as he doesnt rely on athleticism like Ronaldo does for example.
lol at the French league...Messi is doing really well this season but he was shithouse last year.Yeah which is still in the top 5 leagues in the world. PL, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue One.

You could post this after every PSG champions league campaign.
