There's been a lot of links there but I'll be surprised if United make any signings. The reliable sources were saying after the club over spent on the Antony deal that it would mean no January signings.

Maybe Ronaldo's situation and the potential club sale have changed things but I doubt it.

I'm guessing it was the terms of his contract rather than the transfer fee. Leeds, Southampton, United had deals to sign him which fell through. Liverpool must have offered him a better deal.

I was very worried early on. The LFC lads will tell you as I was screaming flop in the LFC thread. But I've started to come round on him. Im not totally sold but can see a very, very good player in there. If he can put it all together he's gonna be really good.

There's a few red flags with Gakpo. He was anonymous against better defences in the world cup, he has unrealistic xg and xA similar to Nunez last season, both the same age and are oast the traditional development points. Easy to look good in the eredivisie
