I wonder what United would look like with competent ownership. Let's hope we never have to find out.

Is Enzo Fernandez worth €130m?
You'll find out next summer

It won't hold up that's for sure. We are looking at the loan market. Ighalo 2.0 incoming hahaIf they do sign someone at the end of the window I wonder how the narrative that they couldn't afford Gakpo will work out.
What pattern are you referring too?Fellaini transfer followed that pattern. Dither over a buyout clause only for it to expire and then buy him anyway for massive overs.
They don't need to be a excellent. Running United would not be particularly difficult. Strip out the financing costs, dividends and consultancy fees and United could spend £200-£250m per annum from free cash flow. United have never needed an owner to put money into the clubs transfer budget. One would hope that at owner who has generated sufficient wealth to purchase United would not be stupid enough to think that they can spot a player or negotiate a transfer and will leave that to the professionals. How often are new owners great straight away in any sport? Generally there's a fair few misses/blunders with any new ownership group. I wouldn't be expecting whoever the new owners are to be competent/excellent for at least a year or two if not more.

Famously billionaires are great at just giving up control of their billion dollar ego/vanity projects to people who they see as less successful than them. That's definitely what has happened most of the time in professional sports. It's a wonder that there are any badly run sporting organisations now that you think of it.
whats this about FSG?Thats what happens with the oil clubs. Their owners barely ever turn up to games or involve themselves in management.

Yes, how dare they fund 100million in strikers. AmateursAnother bunch of parasites.

What's Ighalo actually up to? Just bring him back.It won't hold up that's for sure. We are looking at the loan market. Ighalo 2.0 incoming haha
Came from coutinho money. Maybe just maybe.. clubs should be sustainable on their own without having owners pump money in or have a richer owner buy them upThey didnt fund anything. That came from club revenue & being tight arses. The only thing they have funded is the ground redevelopment & new training facility. Both interest free loans. Not gifts either.
Theyre parasites now with an asset that has reached its peak value so theyll be gone soon.
I can only hope they arent replaced by sportswashers otherwise I might have to become an Everton fan.
Not really. Glazers are selling and the price does not go up by $100m if they spend $100m on a player. That makes no sense when you would have saved funds from Ronaldo leaving.
Seems a pretty sensible way to handle an investment.Thats what happens with the oil clubs. Their owners barely ever turn up to games or involve themselves in management.
