What's he supposed to do if Chelsea's offer is the only one accepted?

Tell his club no he'd rather stay in the Ukraine and deny them a huge fee just because it's the wrong massive PL club?

Yes. I mean lots of players do that, then the club works with the club the player wants to get too just like we did with Raph wanting to go to Barca when Chelsea offered more.

Yes because PL club Leeds have a lot in common with wartorn country club Shakhtar. Some clubs have the luxury of accepting smaller offers to help players get where they want. Others take what's on the table.

A Ukrainian playing for Chelsea is just too funny. Anyway, our ability to step away from the deal/not get sucked in shows a lot of growth since the Sanllehi days. Edteta have worked very hard to gut the deadwood & astutely build a proper squad; this sign of maturity could be a watershed moment when time permits reflection.

£62m is quite a gamble on someone so inexperienced in Europe, though he does look quite rapid. Be interesting to know what the add ons are. I guess Arsenal should have wrapped this up last week so only themselves to blame.

Bit disappointed Madueke isnt the winger we are signing though. We need a RW more imo and he looks a great prospect(outside of injuries) and a better price.
