I don't reckon even Levy took the 12m bid seriously. He just wanted to show he was trying to buy someone without actually ever intending of doing it.


27m is on the low side for a Belgian international. His listed market value is 30m and normally you expect overs in the winter window.

Simply you turn peopled heads with large sums of money and unsettle them enough to make the move inevitable.

Well he didn't take it well with us but maybe the much higher wage will make him feel comfortable riding the pine a bit more.

As mentioned before he himself said he wouldn't want to move to a club where he'd not be starting.

We didnt have interest in Cucu until City walked away and our offer for Mudryk was pretty much the same as what Arsenal offered(though we had realistic add ons).
