Players like (better than Sterling) Jordan Ibe, Rhian Brewster, Dominic Solanke honestly who cares. Money for jam.

You've lost Sterling (everyone says that improved your club), Coutinho (everyone says it improved your club) and Mane (you spend more than twice the proceeds on Nunez.

Can't think of anyone else you've lost under Klopp that would have got a game anyway.
And that's fine, but it still doesnt mean that over the journey we just havent spent enough money to compete at the very top. Klopp wrung every ounce of ability out of the squad we had and it's on its last legs now. Need a rebuild but I mean... where will the money come from. I still blindly hope we bring in Bellingham in the summer but 100 million. I cant see it myself.

Liverpool supporters when they realise they only needed to cough up £15 million for Jude Bellingham, if they never blew £85 million on Darwin Nunez.

Sometimes being this loyal is just stupid.

Stupid in what sense? Was David Mundy stupid for staying at Freo? Some players are just attached to their clubs and get to a point where they don't see much point in leaving. Winning a trophy at another club you've rocked up at presumably doesn't feel as fulfilling.

I guess its just Spurs or United for Kane. Chase a trophy or stay loyal, tough choice.
if he wanted trophies he would've pushed to join us, liverpool or chelsea over the last few years. doesnt have the drive beyond being a spurs great.

I think Kane just legitimately believed he could help Spurs win things, and it just hasn’t worked out. He’s still delivered but the club and some teammates haven’t been up to standard. He could be perfectly happy with everything else in his life the way it is. A lot more to life than just chasing trophies.

Still sounds like he’s a long way off actually signing anything though. A poor managerial appointment or quiet summer in the market and he’d have just about every club in Europe chasing him on a free. If he went this summer you’d think United and Real are the only ones seriously interested with the money to do it.

Re: Harry Kane - I think he’s always been more in it for the personal glory than anything else. He’ll want to go down as a spurs legend and break the EPL scoring record - hence he will never go overseas.
