Re: Harry Kane - I think he’s always been more in it for the personal glory than anything else. He’ll want to go down as a spurs legend and break the EPL scoring record - hence he will never go overseas.
Haaland will break Kane's record in the next 3-6 weeks anyways.

After the January window if the circumstances are right.

Director of football - banned from football
Manager - leaving in 4 months
Right wing back - still Emerson Royal
Owner - still avoiding tax, stealing land in Patagonia and buying more paintings

If they're the right circumstances to re-sign it might Harry thinks about ditching his brother as agent

Stupid in what sense? Was David Mundy stupid for staying at Freo? Some players are just attached to their clubs and get to a point where they don't see much point in leaving. Winning a trophy at another club you've rocked up at presumably doesn't feel as fulfilling.
Van Persie probably disagrees.

I think it's fulfilling if they're a main part of why that new team won. If they've gone to sit on the bench, then yes.

Yeah guess I'm just thinking if Kane went to Bayern he'd win a title but it wouldn't mean much. Going to United and ultimately not being significantly more likely to win the title than Spurs probably isn't worth it either.

I think United are more likely than Spurs but it's a valid point.

Truthfully I wonder whether Kane knows Levy won't sell him anyway and wants to make the most out of it/stay loyal etc.

So what you are saying is Joe Lewis needs to include a few paintings in Kane's new contract.

It was more a joke/bait on my part about loyalty being stupid. Plenty of sportspeople have spent their entire careers at clubs that never go particularly close to winning trophies and there is nothing wrong with that. Kade Simpson finished his career on 342 games and over 200 of those were losses. David Mundy (made a GF in his career) as has been said already. Alan Shearer won a PL title but the question still comes up why he stayed with Newcastle for so long as a great of the league. Some players are just satisfied where they are.

Definitely more likely, agree, just not sure if they're so much more likely it's worth tarnishing a reputation as a one club player (ignoring loan spells).
