Plus tax. And im pretty sure its all counted in the first year for FFP purposes too(cant spread it over the contract).Nah, release clauses need to be paid in full up front IIRC.
Be nice if you could loan him to Lyon to help us out with Gusto. We had and still have a huge need for someone in his position. So seemed like a logical good move for all. Our manager just won't play someone who hasn't got multiple caps for their country and/or top flight experience. He also won't drop a woefully out of form player for our 60m record signing. So it's a little bit of a mess all around

Chelsea do need a bit of gusto to get out of this funkBe nice if you could loan him to Lyon to help us out with Gusto.
Think you’re putting 2 and 2 together and getting 7. Looking for something that isn’t there.Yeah my point isn't the fee. Just that other clubs are putting on longer contracts and spreading it out on their books. Seems like the sort of thing we'd do. But we appear to have shortened our contract offer down from the 6 year type deals we've been burnt with duds like Sanchez, Ndombele etc.
hopefully chelsea bring out their language expert like they did for felix and make a gusta referenceChelsea do need a bit of gusto to get out of this funk
Perhaps Pickford in the summer.Surely Spurs bring in a new keeper this window?
All this talk about clubs exploiting long contracts to spread costs. And then we are doing the opposite. Doesn't make sense since you'd think we'd be leaders in creative accounting
It doesn't help alleviate FFP issue down the track, it helps alleviate FFP issues in the here and now. Having players on long term contracts means you still have a cost on your books 7 or 8 years down the track, whereas on a shorter term contract they would be fully amortised. It only helps to alleviate ffp issues down the track allowing spending with gay abandon.
Levy isnt that interested in big spending down the track.
Don’t be tight.Think its time we signed Bellingham for 120m on a 11 year contract.
As good asIs Fresneda confirmed?
