Not sure what you think clubs and agents discuss when they talk about players making moves other than new wages

If they've broken rules, lodge it. Wouldn't be the first to do it. If its been proven they've tapped up a player they'll be easily caughtIs approaching our player without asking us first and then bidding on him in public without even having contacted us to discuss placing a bid for him against the rules?

Im not going to pretend its on the same level but we do lose players to other clubs.
At AFL level i know your pain x 100.
Theyve done it before. Are the punishments harsh enough? No. But it's the rule makers issue not the clubs. Clubs play to the rules in place. Step outside them get punished. Punishment is too weak then people do as they please and weak clubs allow it.You're deluded if you think the piss weak PL would do anything.
Look at the pathetic penalties they handed out to the slimy 6 for trying to destroy the PL.
Yep. I feel for them that it's so late in the window. But at the same time just ask for something stupid like 80m and don't move from that. They've gone extreme and 100m.It's not like Brighton need the money so they have absolutely no reason to cave.

Just stick to their guns. Start looking at replacements probably worth 20-40m who they will have to spend 60-70m on and get on with it.
Like they have with every other sale, just with bigger numbers involved
Don't even think they need to be paying that much for a replacement judging by their recruitment model. Just pick up some unknown Japanese/South American player who'll be a gun in 12 months.
But again as said before they really need to be revisiting their wage structure to ensure they retain more players going forward. Soton are a cautionary tale.
And how many clubs are a cautionary tale of paying over inflated wages?
Why would we be happy when our best season ever could be totally derailed by this?
It was a joke mate. I hope you do keep Caicedo and re-asses the situation in the summer. If your owners think Caicedo helping Brighton get into Europe is better than getting an extra £30-40 million in a transfer fee (and it is), they shouldn't sell him right now.
Another day, another Bostonian melt.
Every club loses players, we've been subject to it too.
Who was the last club that bid on your players without speaking to you first and getting the player to tell the world they want out?
Barcelona. Fabregas.Who was the last club that bid on your players without speaking to you first and getting the player to tell the world they want out?
Fabregas maybe? I'm sure there's a more recent one.
Barcelona. Fabregas.
Probably RvP from memory. I'm sure there are others.
That was an offseason move.
The clubs had also had informal discussions prior to a bid being made.
Neither Chelsea or Arsenal had contacted our people before placing bids.
Why does it being offseason make a difference? He was tapped up for ages.
