Chelsea will only need to sell a few Gallagher types each year to cover the increased amortisation from this seasons spending. Wages might be a bit more of a problem, but I reckon they'll be banking on all these new players lifting them up the table and going far in the Champions league on a regularly basis.

That'll increase revenue significantly.

Only thing I wouldn't be sure of, everyone was quoting mad fees for Haaland, he ended up getting sold for £51m or something like that.

Could be that's the price Dortmund pay for getting young, promising kids from England. Get them in, give them a low release, move onto the next.
This is what confuses me. If Haaland who is a generational talent goes for 51, why is Bellingham going for 130?

Wasnt there some kind of weird release clause in Haalands contract? But why was it there and why was it so low when BVB surely knew they had a golden ticket? I assume Bellingham doesnt have a release clause either as I've heard nothing about it.

I still reckon it gets done for around 100m though in the summer. I'd also appreciate it if your club stayed out of it, thanks. :D

It was probably why Haaland agreed to go there in the first place. Not much a club can do if a young, promising players says I'll come but only if you put a low release clause in.

Either say no, and move on or say yes and still make a tidy profit (and benefit from his goals for a few years).

Might be in a few years time people will ask why we had such a low release clause for Haaland leaving him free to go to Madrid.

Do you guys have a release clause in Haalands contract?

Whats release clause now?

Some of it has been forced, but this season will be seen as a transition for us.

As many as 10 of the matchday squad from the Villa game last season have gone, or are rumoured to be on the way out.

Apparently we do, I think it's around £200m so if someone does meet it, we've not done too bad.

I suspect if he wanted to go, we'd accept less than that though.

Oh, that's nothing for Real you would think. They will need a Benzema replacement too.

Nah, I like a good regeneration. There hasn't been a lot of change in the squad over the past five years before then, you can't let them all grow old together.

Haaland had a buyout clause in the end. Plus you had to pay a 30m agent fee on top.
