Yeah we get that but go back further and you see how City's money just piles up. Of course it gets to a point where you have to spend very little now to maintain where you're at. It was the same when United rules the PL, they would buy just one top player every year, City are pretty similar now.Net spend since 2018/19. I think people haven't woken up to the fact that we've done exactly as we've said we would. Spend big to get us from a position where we couldnt compete, and then things get easier. Now we still spend plenty, but it's filling one or two positions rather than 5 or 6, and with that being the case we can focus on quality.
It's why IMO clubs should never be discourage, or criticised for pushing the boat out as long as they aren't putting the club in danger financially.

Bellingham please.Would pool fans rather spend all the budget on just Bellingham or spend it on 3 CMs?
Why not take it back 50 years? I mean every time the goal posts shift. It was 2018, before that it was when Klopp started, all disproven so now you reach back to 2013 to cover your arses.Yeah we get that but go back further and you see how City's money just piles up. As you can see, we are very far behind City when it comes to spending money.

I mean sure we can go back as long as you like. Why not take it back 50 years? I mean every time the goal posts shift. It was 2018, before that it was when Klopp started, all disproven so now you reach back to 2013 to cover your arses.

Nobody is crying poor Liverpool, we have no money etc.
All we're saying is that there are levels.
Liverpool are massively wealthy, I think the last list I saw had us as the 7th or 8th richest team on the planet. We get it, we're rich. We have more money than most. But then there is City which is an entirely different level of money.
I know you're not stupid. If you have the most money, you generally win the league. You know that as well as anyone. United used to have the most money so they won almost every year. Now City easily have the most money (before Newcastle rise of course) and you guessed it they have won 4 of the past 5 years and probably win it again this year.
It's just facts.
That is literally what you are doing.I mean sure we can go back as long as you like.

So we agree. That is literally what you are doing.
Most money != Winning league. Best use of Money = winning the league.
So we agree.
Good.
Agree that you are crying poor? Yep.So we agree.
Good.
Surprised Jod isn't a city fan given his history of magically picking winning teams to support. If your club is too poor to compete support another club and stop complaining

How long do you outspend us before you stop using an inability to compete with our spending as an excuse?Yeah we get that but go back further and you see how City's money just piles up. What are those winning teams exactly?Surprised Jod isn't a city fan given his history of magically picking winning teams to support.
Be easy on Jod. Dude is still upset Michael Jordan retired![]()
I guess when we spend another 6-700 million and you spend 0 million. Then I think we'd be close to even over the journey. How long do you outspend us before you stop using an inability to compete with our spending as an excuse?

Eagles win a Premiership every once and a while. Liverpool under Klopp, great, before him, not so great. The Bulls havent won a title in 25 years.
Absolute glory hunter for sure.

It's not really. you're using us as an excuse for your clubs poor season.
In 20/21 our revenue was £619m, yours was £594m. Third highest in the world.
It's not City's fault we're having a poor season. I'm not using City as an excuse at all. It's not really. you're using us as an excuse for your clubs poor season.

So you could outspend us by £20m a year for the next 30 years and Liverpool supporters will still be moaning that they can't compete?I guess when we spend another 6-700 million and you spend 0 million. Then I think we'd be close to even over the journey.
Why always so defensive? You know you have more money than everyone else which equals you winning most of the trophies. Just enjoy it mate.So you could outspend us by £20m a year for the next 30 years and Liverpool supporters will still be moaning that they can't compete?
Christ.
Goalkeeper?jack grealish isn't classified as a midfielder on transfermarkt
Don't confuse me pointing out how ridiculous it is for a Liverpool supporter to constantly cry poor with me defending our spending. Why always so defensive? You know you have more money than everyone else which equals you winning most of the trophies. Just enjoy it mate.
