Hopefully, his "iffy" form at a very unstable Chelsea drops his price substantially and he does come to Arsenal.
He has just turned 24, he has excellent feet, he is good in the air which means Arsenal will have someone that can actually header in the penalty box for the first time in a long time, he's a lefty which will add great balance and flexibility to the squad/side and he is a fully fledged German International and you don't walk into the German National side, even though they have been in the doldrums for a few years.
His record of scoring in Internationals is good especially considering that Germany have not been their rampaging selves for a few years now. From what I can make out, he's scored 13 times in 35 games. He also has Premier League experience and under Arteta's regime, he will must likely thrive.
