Can’t believe Neves has gone to Saudi. What a waste of a career at 26 years old. Obviously he’ll get a king’s ransom but I still don’t get it. He has young kids who have grown up in England and he’s going to uproot them to go live in the desert. He genuinely seems to love Wolves too. Confusing all round.

Yes that’s the one transaction that has really stood out. Many of the others are out of favour/older players who perhaps are seeking one last significant pay day at that stage of their career.

Not Neves though, at 26. At a guess he/his family could perhaps do 2 years at his new club, earn an unrivalled amount of money and then he could still play out another 4-5 years or so in returning to a European club.

Is this the point in time where fans say all there outgoings are s**t and their Incomings are good?
Nah. I’ve called Mount and Havertz shit for a while. Genuinely happy to see the back of them.

And any Chelsea fan that talks up a signing before they’ve played a minute hasn’t learnt a thing. 80% of our signings fail.

What was your opinion of Mount before Utd’s interest?

Good player and hard worker. Every team in the league wants a player like him in their squad. Will be a nice rotational player for us. Eriksen can't play every week nor can he play out 90 minutes anymore. He will play 50 odd times for us next year, starting probably 30 games.

Ten Hag is insistent and I'm happy to back him in. He hasn't got a lot wrong so far and improves players. The price is questionable but it's not my money so I don't care too much as long as we can bring in a GK and centre forward.

How about when it's Arab money?

You know my view on sportswashing cheating campaigners and Sovereign wealth funds. The money just happens to be Arab. I've made my view quite clear on the subject.

Crap state football is in when garbage like Newcastle can buy their way up the table and sign a starter off Milan.
Another club to add to the shitstains of football list.

Wolves bought from AC Milan a few years back. Everton bought from Juventus a few years back - young potential stars too not old hasbeens or anything.

Happy with Kovacic, good player that fits in with our style of play. Decent price too.

Gvardiol looks like it might happen.

Left back, maybe a right back and that should see us done.

Then it's time for the departures.
