Dunno how to feel about this one. Same price as Maddison for someone who's done not as near as much. Can't say I've seen him play much but hopefully it's a reverse KDB, Salah, Lukaku situation for us.

Yeah Palmer seems overpriced compared to Maddison who is proven in the PL and is in the full England squad. Sterling wasn't that much more at £47.5 million.

They are losing Iwobi and Gray who have been two of Everton's better players. Maupay has been poor but has previously done well at Brentford and Brighton.

If Everton had a clear out there would be very few PL quality players left. Maybe Pickford, Tarkowski, Doucoure, Onana, McNeil.

Same.

Atletico fell over apparently as they wouldn't include an option or obligation and we wouldn't accept without one.

Now. Happy to see hell freeze over and deal with the Chavs for Chalobah. Haven't watched him too much but has to be better than Dier (refusing to leave) or Sanchez (looming as a deadline day loanee).
