There's nothing Levy can do about it if a Chelsea decides to cough up say 110m and sign him next summer if all 3 parties agree to it.

Yes, he has first option. The chances of Levy exercising that option for a 31/32 year old are very low to non existent. In any case history has shown clubs signing old favorites almost never works.
