None of us can sit here and criticise really because if we offered 700K a week tax free to go to Saudi Arabia and do the the same job were doing here in Australia. We would all do it. All of us.

Would I move to Saudi for a paycheck? Probably not, but thats just down to family etc. Would I work for them on a short term contract or fly in/fly out? Probably.

So I'm not going to criticise professional footballers for doing their job.

Huh? Who you work for is entirely defined by what you do, how you act and ultimately, what you believe in. No one is forcing Henderson to move to Saudi Arabia. Unless he's planning on forwarding his 700k a week salary to LGBTQ+ charities, his reported actions (accepting the offer to move) has shown us exactly how much he believes in his morals and principles regarding the LGBTQ community.

It's a stain on his legacy that will be almost impossible to remove in the minds of many Liverpool fans around the world.

Hope Hendo turns it down. Imagined him spending the last few years of his career back at Sunderland after his contract finishes in 2025.

If he does join wearing a rainbow armband should be written into his contract.. Gerrard's club is one of the non government owned ones.

I don't agree, and I imagine Henderson will continue to campaign for what he believes in.
