Going to a club playing champions league - it’s a big step up tbf

I'm intrigued to see how it unfolds. When he was with Dortmund he was one of my favourite players to watch and I was tuning in all the time. But he's been a shadow of that player for a long time now.

I think he got caught out with the pace of the game here initially but it isn't as though he needed to rely on pace in the Bundesliga. His movement, dribbling, and passing were superb, but we've seen none of that. TBF some of that is down to the quality of players around him as the off ball movement from attacking players and support from full backs here is nowhere near the level he enjoyed at Dortmund.

Watching him at United has been so frustrating though because I have never seen a player who has less intensity in his game. Almost every attacking play with Sancho ends in him looking up, slumping his shoulders, and then passing backwards. He shows no fight for the 50/50 balls or aerial duels, and he always jogs back when the team is defending. It just looks like he's lost all motivation to play really. I hope he can rediscover it.

It doesn't matter who plays up front for United atm. We don't give our strikers any service.
Bruno leads the league in chances created, and was the 2nd man after Ozil to get 100 in the league in a calendar year.

Where are these passes ending up?

Lol. I call BS on both of those claims.

I feel Brentford need Toney and his goals in the second half this season. However that needs to be balanced with he’ll have 12 months left on his deal at the summer so should they cash in now or not.

I really don’t see a transaction of this size and volume happening now in January, it’s a difficult one to pull off. Especially with him going to AFCON.

I think Toney is better off waiting 18 months and choosing his club with a juicy signing on bonus.

He will be 29 then, and if he doesn’t hit the ground running and help Brentford avoid relegation his value could be greatly diminished.

I hope Arsenal don’t go anywhere near him. The price quoted is absurd given he has had one good season at the top level.

Haha quality work Glen. I see what you did there.

Eh I'd say he's had more than one good season.

He's soft as shit both physically and mentally. He needs to **** off out of the UK and back to Germany just to get away from his dickhead mates.

The big difference I saw between him at BVB and MUFC was the quality of the fullbacks he had with him. At Dortmund he has a lot of space created due to a) counter attacks but also b) Hakimi and Guerrerio taking a defender with them in their runs and opening the 1v1. Lots of times at MUFC I saw Sancho just expected to take on 2 defenders and eventually passing backwards to the fullbacks instead of laterally or diagonally forward.

Do you think the Bundesliga is a stronger league than the Premier League? Yes or no.

Take a walk.
A politician would be proud of that sidestep.
