40m would be closer to the mark but I'd only seen 30m as offered.

Definitely left sided but I think the talk is overstated. 2 weeks ago before any links were made, everyone loved him.

It's always the way. As soon as a player leaves he was shit and overrated anyway.

Yep haha.

He's our best player, possibly the best in the Championship. But sure, he's now only one sided and flawed haha

Interesting that you have a top half Serie A side trying to sign younger players out of the Championship really.

I think it's pretty smart. Whittaker is a huge talent and will be worth 20-30m at the very least within a few years if he has a good spell with them, and English clubs will be happy to pay the English tax for him.

That's really the only risk for the foreign clubs.

As long as they adjust well, it's almost guaranteed profit.

German clubs have done very well out of talented English youngsters.

Even if he doesn't adjust well, a recently relegated club would at least take him back for what they paid for him given his record in the Championship. I'd argue other than a bad injury, there's almost zero risk to a transfer like that.

Not really. That is their level now. Teams like Brentford have more money than them, it's obscene.
It's been a quiet window for the prem this month but this is what it was 12 months ago.

Would like to see Championship clubs and lower get a bigger piece of the pie.

Agreed. You can really see how bad and overrated Kane is now he has left

I mean that's a reasonable example where despite him being a generational talent there's been a debate about whether him leaving Spurs was actually a good thing.

Well.... if somehow Bayern don't win something this season, fingers gotta start looking at him

Nah, last season they won the league on last day thanks to Dortmund's loss at home to lowly Mainz.
I'd say Leverkusen this season are a better outfit than Dortmund. Without Kane BL would be further ahead. Of course Bayern may have spent the 100m on other players so who knows. Bottom line though Kane has made them way better.

How do fingers look?

The irony of one Spurs supporter mocking the concept that former players get underrated before another does exactly that is certainly something.

Was sarcastic, he's clearly not the reason they aren't winning the league again.

He's been poorly advised by his brother joining them at the exact wrong time

Only four of Kane’s goals have been equalisers or given them the lead, there’s a fair bit of stat padding going on.
