From memory Caicedo wasn’t a traditional release clause right? Was more so Brighton holding firm on their valuation and it was up to Liverpool and then Chelsea to meet that and agree terms with the player.

Lots of stories about outgoings at the moment, none seem particularly unrealistic. Would be a shame to see Alvarez leave, but I'm not sure he'll ever get the minutes he craves at the club.

That's pretty much them breaking their transfer record to sign him, a lot of clubs outside the prem don't have anywhere near the amount of funds.
