That's pretty much them breaking their transfer record to sign him, a lot of clubs outside the prem don't have anywhere near the amount of funds.

They don't have to buy him I guess, there'll be better offers imo.

Apparently Dortmund made €130 million from their Champions League run so they have funds. But they are always reluctant to spend too much on one player. Maatsen was a bench warmer for Chelsea but was ever present for Dortmund in the Bundesliga and UCL so the transfer makes sense. But €25m = £20m seems like a lowball offer, even just in order to start talks.

Are they lowballing Sancho? Imagine they would buy him back if they could.

It's all based on rumours but there's a few balls in the air on that one.

I saw a report that Dortmund would only pay up to €35 million for Sancho. That's lowball but in line with their transfer policy. Then there's his wages. Sancho reportedly earns nearly £300,000 a week from his contract with United. Dortmund can't get near that. And Sancho's preference seems to go back to United, as long as Ten Hag isn't there. Looking at my tea leaves I think he will go back on loan to BVB for another season.

It's a shame Dortmund didn't win the CL and trigger his CL win add on.

The issue is we don’t have sugar daddy owners, and COVID happened. Still need to be careful in funds management. But yes, I think Sancho comes back on loan.

Maatsen I feel we’ll get for 30m. Don’t want to make the same mistake as not signing Hakimi. But you never offer the full price on first negotiation.

How much is your weapons maker sponsorship worth?

Says a lot that he's slotted into England line ups after six months. Maybe there's some decent players in the championship after all.

What a weird thing to be salty about.
It is a bit funny to make a story out of city "earmarking" him as if he's an unknown.

Sort of story you see 100 times a day in the off season. Not normally accompanied by the tears.

Not sure you have to be an unknown to be earmarked either.

Leicester have re-signed Jamie Vardy for another season, Vestergaard for 3 seasons.
Marc Albrighton, Kelechi Iheanacho and Dennis Praet have left.
