while he probably wont have the level of impact palmer has had at chelsea, i suspect something similar will happen with mcatee. i hope he leaves and tears it up elsewhere, we havent learned our lesson

FC Barcelona have reportedly closed a last-minute €100m (£82.9m) deal to sell VIP boxes at the newly renovated Camp Nou to Middle Eastern investors. The club are hopeful the sale will allow them to meet financial fair play rules and finally extend Dani Olmo’s registration.

He isn't signing a new deal though so they're playing a dangerous game.
Contracted to summer 2028, so they got some time before lowering the asking price.

Yep, but more just mean this might be the peak of the value they could get for him, and if they wait until summer when there's more options in the market no one would pay as much as they might this window. Not suggesting they sell him for a cut price, but if someone offered 80-90m for him I think they'd be silly not to accept.

Seem like the kind of signing United should be going for; young, talented local boy that fits a need for them
