Onana is a great get for United, fixes some their issues playing out from the back as hes as good as there is for that as a keeper. Had an awesome UCL run last season too.

Can't blame him going for a CL club and they will pay him more than the Hammers. Newcastle already have good options on the left but Barnes is two footed so could play either side.

More so the annoyance that the club dithered and if we went in for him 1-2 weeks ago could be a different story. Apparently the Rice deal was the main reason why, that and dithering Dave + Steindten only starting this week.

That said, I'd expect Newcastle to sell Saint-Maximim now if this goes through. Never really fit in with Eddie Howe.
