Maybe similar to Gallagher. It didn't make sense from a footballing POV to move him on but it did in regards to FFP. Chelsea might have also sold James if he could get out of the physios room for more than 10 minutes.

not really. Gallagher was like Mount, seen as surplus.

Guys like James and Colwill who are best 11 players won't/wouldn't be sold off.

What's the go with Nkunku? Granted I have not watched a lot of him but what I have seen is flashes of brilliance. The lad can play.

£50m. Poor fella copped a pretty significant knee injury in his first preseason and by the time he got fit Palmer was WC in his preferred position.

No surprise he's not interested in being backup, too talented for that.
