Revisionist history... They had Peter Shilton & Gordon Banks as keepers...
he will have 500 appearances and probably 200 goals to go with the league title, fa cup and won poty when they won the league. i dont think it's a bad shout that he's the best for leicester.

I know, but I would still have Banks ahead of him. It's Gordon Banks.

i mean in terms of talent there's been better players, there were more talented players that vardy played with. but in terms of greatest for leicester, i think he has a very strong shout.

Mahrez was definitely more talented than Vardy but Vardy will always be my favourite fox.

Sad day. Knew it was probably coming, can’t blame him for not wanting the championship again at 38.

Looking at all the accolades surrounding him, it’s unbelievable to think of where he came from (and what he cost us).

Was even lucky enough to watch him live.

Has there ever been a better £1m investment in football?

Probably the wrong thread but he’s left some of the best memories you could hope for as a supporter.

The great escape in 14/15
The 5-3 win against United
The title winning season
The record breaking run
That goal against Liverpool

One of the more prolific finishers I think you’d see. Could do it either foot, could volley it etc.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up in the PL hall of fame when he’s done with it all.

He was also handy at winning penalties then smashing them in. Another attribute he had was putting pressure on defenders when they had the ball. Sometimes he wasn't even near the defender and they would make mistakes thinking he was about to run them down.

Banks and Shilton had great international careers but I think what Vardy did for Leicester in 2015-16 and 496 total appearances makes him their greatest ever player.
