You think? He's only 25. He obviously looked much better in a season we dominated, than one we got dominated in.

20m isn't that much but I have no idea how else you try and judge the value.

Maybe I'm influenced by how he played against us but he looked absolutely rubbish, and I thought I remembered a fair bit of uncertainty over his ability at points in that season for you. 20m for a Championship keeper is a lot of money, no matter how you look at it.

I'm not sad he's leaving, I think he's far from the perfect keeper.

I don't think it's a bad gamble from West Ham though.

I guess I look at it as - how much would Michael Cooper at Sheff Utd go for? Transfermarket is far from perfect but it has Cooper valued at 9m euros. He was the top performing GK in the Championship last season and if not for a choke in the Play Off final he'd be a PL keeper right now. Does that really inflate his value if he's just going to be in for a terrible season?

He really needs a run of games to get some touch and confidence back.

With us, he just never looked good unfortunately. Question is whether he's going to play regularly with Roma I suppose.

I think he'd have been better served going to a Championship Club for a season given his current form.

I guess the other way of looking at it is if he doesn't work out for West Ham, they'll still get something back on him anyway.

I don't know the answer on effectively evaluating them.

James Trafford went for £15m, admittedly was 20, but only had experience in the League One.

They haven't spent a lot the last few years and have recouped money. Won the League with a team that was shallow but high on talent and have now reaped the rewards of not splurging... ****ers.

More than happy for it to continue. Need to ensure Arteta gets no success, deserves nothing.
