top treatment of one of their best
DDG was the highest paid goalkeeper in the game but his performances have steadily declined to the point where he can no longer be guaranteed a starting position, and the new contract offer reflected that. It is disappointing that he didn't get a proper send off but what was the club supposed to do differently?
a bit more respect for a bloke who was there for 12 years and just flicked off on the uncontracted list? sort his future out positively or negatively before the end of the season, and dont give him the kirk van houten cracker factory farewellDDG was the highest paid goalkeeper in the game but his performances have steadily declined to the point where he can no longer be guaranteed a starting position, and the new contract offer reflected that. He's just left a mid table PL sideIt's interesting that Ox hasnt found a new home yet. I know he is a sick note but could certainly bring value to a mid table or lower PL side.

Didn’t they offer him a contract though?a bit more respect for a bloke who was there for 12 years and just flicked off on the uncontracted list? sort his future out positively or negatively before the end of the season, and dont give him the kirk van houten cracker factory farewell
He's probably asking for over 100K a week. Similar to Lingard really. It's interesting that Ox hasnt found a new home yet. I know he is a sick note but could certainly bring value to a mid table or lower PL side.
DDG wasn’t a happy family man…a bit more respect for a bloke who was there for 12 years and just flicked off on the uncontracted list? sort his future out positively or negatively before the end of the season, and dont give him the kirk van houten cracker factory farewell

A number of factors have led to DDG's less than ideal exit from United:
- His own very poor late season form
- Uncertainty over the transfer budget available
- Uncertainty over the takeover
If point 1 doesn't happen then he stays. If point 2 and 3 are resolved then DDG isn't left in the lurch.
