It seems every professional athlete throws all morals out the window when money involved. It's actually quite disgusting how these players who already are extremely rich compared to the average person will partner up and turn a blind eye to some hideous regimes just to get even more. I mean even LeBron apparently a billionaire and apparent man for the rights of others was doing backflips for China so he didn't lose a cent.

I'm just saying basically what I hope. I hope he doesnt leave cos we actually have already had a big turnover in midfield and we need the stability, experience and leadership of Hendo and Fab in the middle of the park.

I wouldn’t know if you have or haven’t, because I just havent paid attention until now. The biggest issue is when a player does all the pro humans rights stuff and then goes to the biggest human rights abusers on the planet, he might look like a bit of a hypocrite.

As for your suggestion that anyone of us doing the same job in Australia would take a $700k a week to do the same job in Saudi Arabia. Well, that depends on if the same job in Australia is paying you let’s say $100k annually or $270k weekly, adjusted for AUD, (as Jordan Henderson is getting right now). If it’s the latter, I can see many people turning down the Saudi offer.
