I guess with Liverpool probably being the biggest critics of sportswashing it's going to be interesting the response by a few in the media about it.

What does this have to do with sportswashing though?I guess with Liverpool probably being the biggest critics of sportswashing it's going to be interesting the response by a few in the media about it.
The Saudi Government is bank rolling this and you have suggested elsewhere that that'd be sportswashing. What does this have to do with sportswashing though?
One club attempting to buy one of our players doesnt really have much to do with sportswashing does it? Or am I missing something?
Have I? When did I say that? The Saudi Government is bank rolling this and you have suggested elsewhere that that'd be sportswashing.
So essentially Liverpool is recieving in your words blood money.
Have I? When did I say that?
What are you excited about?
Excited to sportswash the Saudi government?
Excited to spend tons of money drenched in the blood of innocent civilians?
Sounds great. Good for you.
Is that like your “trophies” comment the other day Re: Kane?Well you didnt do any research mate.
Carragher seems to be coming around too.
No that was me play fully having a jab at our rivals. Is that like your “trophies” comment the other day Re: Kane?
When Ten Hag has already won United a trophy last season
I agree.its not just about taking the money with henderson. he was front and centre for a lot of the rainbow laces campaign and was nominated for some sort of football ally award. that's where the bad taste in particular arises from. very fake
Speak for yourself.Huh?
I dont reckon Hendo will go. But if he does, I wont look poorly on him cos every single one of us would do the same thing.
Money talks. That's just life.
None of us can sit here and criticise really because if we offered 700K a week tax free to go to Saudi Arabia and do the the same job were doing here in Australia. We would all do it. All of us.
I'd move to the middle east for $250k a year, let alone a week haha. Not if I'm already on 200K a week in Australia.
I'm a big believer in that you can't put a price on happiness and being with family & friends. Relocating to the Middle East would be unimaginable for me.
I'd move to the middle east for $250k a year, let alone a week haha.
For me, you're defined by what you say and do, how you act and what you believe in. Not who you work for.
I presume Henderson still believes in what he believed in before, and playing football for another team doesn't really change that.
Would I move to Saudi for a paycheck? Probably not, but thats just down to family etc. Would I work for them on a short term contract or fly in/fly out? Probably.
So I'm not going to criticise professional footballers for doing their job.
Huh? Who you work for is entirely defined by what you do, how you act and ultimately, what you believe in.
