Not sure what is more insane.
West Ham offering 30m to make Maguire their marquee defensive signing or United actually turning it down.
Neither. 30m for McTominay being offered and then somehow rejected by United is the most insane thing here.
Maguire will be a good signing for West Ham, I'm very confident about that. He'll be the player he is for England, not the United meme.
McTominay on the other hand is just a really average footballer who only has a couple of good games each season (usually against Leeds). After all these years he still has no clearly defined midfield role and he has the infuriating habit of hiding from the ball when the team are in possession by actively moving out of free space into positions that are blocked off. I can't believe he has this much interest and I'm even more shocked that United aren't desperate to cash in. He's a poor man's Fellaini with a home grown mark up.
