Chelsea have really messed up the whole buy and recruit everyone related to Brighton. It's pretty clear to me that whilst the staff at Brighton may have been really good, the reason for the clubs success is more likely to be held in Tony Blooms data analytics business. Chelsea should have paid a £50m per season license fee or just done what Liverpool did with City. I assume though that Bloom deleted the staff accounts when they left.

Are you joking? West Ham won't buy Maguire, who has agreed to their contract, unless United pay Maguire money? Ridiculous.

100% yes.

Do you think West Ham will pay Maguire 200,000 a week because Man United wont give him a payout to take a lower wage at West Ham?

Thats not how it works. Its not like AFL where a player moves clubs and keeps his wages. West Ham cant take on Maguires 200k a week without pissing other players off/upping players wages who have wage parity clauses for example

As much as you may want to belueve Harry Maguire is going to donate Man United money cos he is a nice guy he wont be. The reason the fee is 30 and n0t 20 is because Harry Maguire wants his 200,000 a week and he gotta get it someway.

Maguire is getting 100k per week from West Ham. United will pay him either a one off severance or a sum for the next two years in stage payments. These are facts. This is being negotiated between United and Maguire without the involvement of West Ham. What is confusing about this?

That it reduces your profit taken for Harry Maguire because you are giving him money and getting no service back.... A bit like selling a house for 900k, giving 20% to the agent and telling everyone "Yep 900k I banked" . Its not the truth

I thought Caicedo wanted to go play Champions League? Seems a bit of a sideways step going from Europa League Club to Europa League Club.

I got the sense from his (ill advised) social media posts in January when Arsenal bid, that he’s more-so wanting to land at any of the bigger clubs. As long as he’s receiving the accompanying wages etc, I’m not sure there’s any suggestions yet that he’s currently seeking CL football only.

So he's a mercenary. Surprised he doesn't go to Saudi Arabia then.

I wasn’t suggesting that either, he was vocal at the time about his upbringing and his desire to be able to provide financially for his entire family. I get the sense he isn’t necessarily wedded to a particular “project”, he wants that move to a big club if/when they can compensate Brighton accordingly.

I mean he'd be earning around about 50k a week at least at Brighton, if you can't provide for your entire family on that then you really need to look at what you are doing. Say he has a family of 20 people (including aunts uncles etc), half a year he's given them more than enough money for an Ecuadorian to survive. I dare say whoever is handling him is not caring about him and caring about themselves.
