They sent out a bunch on loan, rather than recouping fees.

Because our ****wit former DoF put relegation loan clauses in everyone’s contract.
The clauses are valid for the entirety of their contracts too, so unless we get promoted (no chance) they’ll continue to be loaned out until their contracts run out and then we’ll lose them all for free.

If Lavia chooses Chelsea, we could probably be convinced to sell Kalvin Phillips to Liverpool for £70-80m.

It's the least we can do (and Chelsea will probably bid £90-100m once a deal with Liverpool is agreed).

Yeh can’t really blame the players for wanting to play in the top leagues, but has put the club in a really bad spot this season.

This guy gets a lot of inside info for us. Not sure on loan or permanent. Harwood-Bellis (who I really like) would be cheapish, but any one of the other three would cost a fair chunk of any Pacqueta fee.

Yeah I thought they would be back closer to the rest of us with spending but its gone the other way. It's been insane.

Yes but not counting the people left out (Ziyech, Lukaku etc) you have 24 players in your squad and that also doesn't count some of the academy players. You need a new GK and getting in Olise means 26. You'd have to jettison some but still that's a bloated squad.

I'd be surprised if Laporte came to us, but he'd be an upgrade on what Aguerd has shown for us so far.

Harwood-Bellis only makes sense if we don't sign Maguire I think. Phillips is a no for me. Palmer I'd be after for sure.

Sounds like if we bring in another CM on top of Caicedo you'll end up with Gallagher.
