Isn't Sancho on £300k a week? It might be the same problem as Maguire. The club wants him out but the player isn't prepared to take a pay cut.

No idea. Maguire still has an outside chance of playing football though, Sancho doesn't.

With his monster wage and being contracted until 2026 Sancho is going to be so hard to move. I guess loaning out for a few seasons may be to easiest outcome.

I hope Sancho gets his shit together. Watched him since he was in our U18's, and he's got a hell of a lot of ability. Showed it a bit at Dortmund, but the last few years have been a real disappointment for him.

Don't think it's entirely his fault, United are awful for developing players. But he does need to improve his attitude and it may be that he's not willing to do what it will take to be a top player.

Would love Pep to get hold of him again, but think Sancho pissed on his chips as far as that option goes.

Don't think we were asking for 150M for him back then, I think if you offered the same fee for Rice back then as you did with Sancho, you would have had a decent chance at signing him, that's all.

The £150m is what I had heard back then in the summer WHU didn’t sell him. I would love Rice right now but I just don’t think we had a realistic shot. Your club ended up selling for £105 million (?), so I would be shocked if we could have had a realistic shot at £73 million.

But who doesn’t want Rice over Sancho? We all would.

Would imagine he'll be available in the summer. Probably a sale with buyback/sell on clauses.

Don't see him near the first team any time soon.
