According to El Chiringuito, Alvarez turned down a contract that would see him stay in Manchester until 2028.

Interesting one because I don't think Dyche rated him that highly, only started 2 out of the last 6.

I don't think he's top 4 quality right now, but he could still be I guess ultimately, and if he dies, Villa can probably double their money in a few years if they wanted to.

Probably helps us to sign Duran this week also I'd suspect.
