Troyes are the losers in all of this. Basically the club's been used as a FFP workaround to benefit MCFC. Club record signings never making an appearance for the club they supposedly signed for is disgraceful.

A lot of leagues and clubs around the world are just used as a stepping stone. Europe is the ultimate goal for most professionally footballers and you will find that clubs outside of Europe will let a footballer leave with their blessing in a lot of cases.

He was the third highest rated u/23 in La Liga behind Bellingham and Yamal, both of which have market values well in excess of £100m. Probably £150m+ in all honesty. He was rated higher than Baena and Pedri....

If you think he's worth £100m it's pretty difficult to explain with some semblance of logic.

But he's not worth anywhere near that. And if he was the league have associated party rules that will declare the sale invalid.

Every transaction between associated parties goes through a fair market value test.
