You're probably right. I was thinking the release clause £30m was the minimum and clubs could outbid each other to get him. It's more likely the transfer fee will be £30m and he'll negotiate his real valuation into his wages.

A release clause means clubs only need to offer 30m to talk to the player. No club in their right mind would bid a pound more than that as there's no need.
 

Mr Relegation. That's 4 relegation seasons he's played in now. Chesterfield, Bournemouth, Sheffield United and Southampton. He's a top goalkeeper but just in unfortunate circumstances.

Agreed, very different. Delap has the pace and technical ability of a smaller striker though. I think he'll go to the very top. Skeptical that Cunha will as he doesn't have the temperament.

Thanks for everything Gundo, but it's time to move on.

If he's contracted does it mean City can demand a transfer fee if he moves on?

Maybe the call on KDB was premature. He's played two full games and was back to his best against Palace.
