That's my main issue. He's not best XI for us, why are we going to pay top dollar for someone who doesn't move the needle much outside of providing some bench depth (which we are lacking admittedly, but is he really the best solution at that asking price?)

If we still bring in a striker and a LW, it will be a bit more palatable. Signing just Noni on his own will leave a very sour taste in Arsenal fans mouths.

Clearly Saka is first choice at RW. Noni might be the back up but an expensive one. I can't see him as a 10 like Palmer but he had good game for England recently at LW.

If Noni can play on the left it would make it more palatable. Not sure he’s better than Martinelli, probably on par with him.

Nonis pretty trash on the left, one of the reasons we're moving him on. He's a poor man's Robben.

Great depth for you guys but.....if you bring in a RW(Noni) and a 10(Eze) you'd think Nwaneri may want to look elsewhere for opportunities.

If we bring in Eze I’d think it’s to play him on the left, and from all reports they see Nwaneri as more of a 10 than a RW which explains the interest in Noni.

I guess you've got Gyokeres, Havertz, Jesus and Trossard to squeeze in the front line too. You guys are going to be stacked with high price experienced forwards, would you be surprised if an 18 year old may not see an opening?

Martin Zubimendi signing for Arsenal a year after snubbing Liverpool because of loyalty to Real Sociedad is so surprising. I was convinced after that that he was going to either remain a one club player or look to move to Real Madrid or Barcelona in the future.

They might look at cashing in on Trossard or Jesus while they have some value.

Need someone to take Sterling's spot on the bench

I don’t think any of them are taking minutes of Nwaneri. His competition will be Saka/Noni and Odegaard.

Also think at least one of Trossard or Martinelli probably gets offloaded if we land Eze or Rodrygo.

Nwaneri’s been busy with the u21 Euros so I’m not too concerned with the lack of news regarding his renewal. I’m sure it’ll come.

Where does Havertz fit if you play a CF?

Madueke isn't a bad squad/backup player, he's just going to probably cost a bit to bring in.
50m for a bench player that's not even EPL or UEFA homegrown.
Glad Arsenal are spunking that cash not us.
