I count 33 players in the Chelsea squad. Maresca usually makes 3 subs per game, so you are looking at 19 players not involved each game. Some fringe players got games in the Conference League last season but in the Champions League they will need to field their better players.

What are the loan rules these days? I assume clubs can't so and sign 26 players, farm them out and sell them down the track.

Is amortisation for loaned out players included in PSR calculations?

Not sure on the loan rules(6 outside of England i think).

I guess the loan fees are generally set so they cover amortisation and/or wages.

Filling a squad for 60 games without needing to skirt around FFP selling to yourself would be a good start. Much more respectable.

Clubs get loan fees for this reason.

Wouldn't expect it'd be much better though.

Either Hermansen or Suzuki should be in within a week hopefully.
