I'd tend to agree, and I think Sullivan probably didn't want a repeat of say the Max Kilman transfer from last summer where Lopetegui demanded to sign him and we paid over the odds for him.

My concern with Victor is just more it seems we've signed him on a whim and he's not proven in Europe and whether he'll be an upgrade on Areola really.
