I guess they play different sidesHave they had enough of Garnacho already?
With Hincapie being mandatory, albeit the purchase is next years accounts. That's take Arsenal to around £730m spent since the 2021 community shield win.I guess if you ignore this. I think Arsenal will have us covered too.

It's a strange signing, they just bought calafiori 12 months ago for the same position. With Hincapie being mandatory, albeit the purchase is next years accounts. That's take Arsenal to around £730m spent since the 2021 community shield win.
Absolutely no excuses for Arteta.
Hincapie can play both centre half and left back. He's replacing Kiwior but it's nice to have some actual left back cover for Calafiori that isn't an 18 year old midfielder being shoehorned into full back (although I think Lewis-Skelly has as good of a debut season as you could possibly ask an 18 year old playing a new position to have). It's a strange signing, they just bought calafiori 12 months ago for the same position.
With the money they have spent on experienced quality footballers they have got no excuses now.
Thought he was promising but man is he slow.Seems like we want to sign Charlie Cresswell and might sell Aguerd to Sunderland.
We need a bigger CB in the middle who can actually win a header, so think it'd be a decent move.
That would be the main issue, but playing 5 at the back would help with that.Thought he was promising but man is he slow.
Weird.
And if he does do well he won't be going back.Funny the Brighton manager was quoted as saying they want to make sure he was loaned to a club where he would get regular football. Doubt that will happen at Chelsea
Good for themMost Spurs supporters seem happier with the Simons addition than Eze
Agree, A+ window.Hincapie can play both centre half and left back. We're trying to offload Zinchenko but his wages are proving an issue. If he gets sold it'll leave us with Calafiori and Lewis-Skelly competing for the LB spot, with Hincapie being available for both CB and LB.
Mick loves his defenders being able to play in more than one position. I've also heard he's a bit of a weapon on set pieces...
Also agree with comments re: no excuses. Mick's got everything he wanted and more out of this window, it couldn't have gone better for us as far as incomings go. Offload a bit of the dead wood and it's a perfect window for us. Another trophyless season will be unacceptable.
Good signing that immediately improves his position and overall depth.Simons is a great get for Spurs, who have also had a very good window.
