This Rangers guy spent the summer going around the English leagues paying over the odds for players from former clubs / clubs linked with former business associates and then appointed his son to head of recruitment as a cherry on top.

There was a record-breaking £3.11bn spent in the transfer window. But none of players seem to have made a big impact compared to previous seasons such as Rice to Arsenal, Palmer and Caicedo to Chelsea, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister and Gravenberch to Liverpool, Haaland and Gvardiol to City, Maddison, Porro, Van de Ven, Kulusevski to Spurs.

There's been a few big transfers this season that are a 'pass' but many have been disappointing.
