No one else wants him so hes staying?
Even after outlaying nearly €500m Liverpool need a rebuild. Konate, VVD and Allison all past their best. Salah and Robertson leaving for nothing.
We got Kerkez because Robbo was declining. Salah’s decline happened this season instead of next so we’ll have to get a RW now.But wasn't the 500m spent at least in some part in anticipation of Salah and Robertson leaving?
Yep. Plus part of the rationale to go after Wirtz, Isak and Ekitike was to in the longer term replace Salah's goals and assists. But we need that pacy winger too, preferably two of them.We got Kerkez because Robbo was declining. Salah’s decline happened this season instead of next so we’ll have to get a RW now.

Hahaha all g mate. A Mane regen would be perfect.Haha jinx, yeah so kinda what I'm saying. You still need to literally replace the position, but I thought the idea was that longer term that volume of goal involvements could be more evenly spread around, and a large chunk of that investment had already been made.
That’s the plan but both our wings are still a big problem. We really haven’t replaced Diaz on the left either. Gakpo is slow and Ngumoha is just a kid.I thought the idea of getting Isak, Ekiteke AND Wirtz was to rejuvenate your attacking talent? You might need a new right wing, but I thought the idea was the re-shape the attack to be less reliant on that position?
If Isak excels next season, Ekitike can play on the left and we get a world class right winger - the attack may be okay. That's 3 things having to go very well though.Haha jinx, yeah so kinda what I'm saying. Gakpo was a weird buy, a World Cup special where he gets over inflated. His finishing is pretty meh. That’s the plan but both our wings are still a big problem. We really haven’t replaced Diaz on the left either. Gakpo is slow and Ngumoha is just a kid.
He was good last season as a sub option to Diaz, a completely different player off the bench that defences had to adapt to.Gakpo was a weird buy, a World Cup special where he gets over inflated. His finishing is pretty meh.
