Yup.

A few reliable posters around the place are saying we're in for him and have even made an offer of about 17m pounds up front, and the rest, ammounting to about 24-26m pounds in installments/clauses.

Valencia were happy with the fee, and Villa wants to come (apparantly), just they want it all up front. No wonder it seems like we're trying to shove Alonso out the door so quickly.

Spain FC will be playing home games next year in Liverpool.

:D

To be fair though, our first team Spanish contingent looks to be staying at 4. (Although I'd prefer more. Good players these Spainards) :p

In other news Cristiano Ronaldo has signed for Wellington Phonix and Lionel Messi has signed for Perth Glory.

Expect Adelaide United to unveil Claude Davis as its marquee player in the next few days.

Everton now have had a bid accepted for Ramsey.

While we're still ____ing around, offering players on loan and what not. Lordy Lordy Lordy

Everton have now had a bid accepted by Cardiff for Aaron Ramsey as well, however Manchester United are favourites to sign him because they will loan him straight back for one year.

I would have thought that if Cardiff werent happy with the terms offered by the other clubs (in terms of loan back) they wouldn't have accepted the bid. So unless Ramsey is particularly desperate to play for Cardiff next year it will come down to money and where he wants to play his football.

I'd still say United would be favourite on that front.

Update on Ramseygate

I heard Sly Sports were now reporting that the 3 teams were Man Utd, Liverpool (who both had bids accepted yesterday) and Everton who had an offer rejected yesterday, but have had one accepted today.

Well, I've got no idea what to believe.

If he leaves... it will be Juddy leaving WC all over again.
I cant handle this shit all over again.
____ you Real Madrid!!!!
and ____ his spanish girlfriend!!! hahah :o:(

It'll be disappointing if he goes, but history shows that we've still prospered after great players have left us.

As long as we make Real Madrid pay a ridiculously high price for Ronaldo, I can live with it.

Spurs to sign him by putting in a 10mil pound bid and offering Ramsay 100,000 pounds a week starting salary.

Newcastle then to double the wages + transfer fee

Could probably afford it by shipping off that mercenary Owen.
