I'd like to lie for him (and say he did) but there's some wrongs I won't ignore and/or condone.

The 1990s and television must have passed them by without them noticing I guess.

the re-runs are also on at 11pm.

to be fair - that's pretty bloody late on school nights.

One year out man.

I saw a bit of it one night (my first time. It was (not so) special and it hurt). Was terrible. Never again.

Apparently we are in for Corluka. This one seems like a realistic option.

Obviously we are a much bigger club than City so he will want to come ;)

Everton are sizing up a cut-price £1.5m deal for Newcastle midfielder Alan Smith. (Daily Star)

If this is ambition then I am Joseph Stalin.

Unfortunately this is also popping up on a few other sites as well.:(
Please no...........

Alan Smith :D

Please, Please let that happen.

Typical Everton.. We're trying to get a superstar! Oh here you go, here is Alan Smith/Yakubu instead.

To be fair to Fat Purple Aki, he did very well last season.

Comparing him with the "versatile" Alan Smith is harsh.

True.. but he's not a superstar that we need to actually inject creativity in the team. We were after Fernandes - he went elsewhere while we sat on our hands thinking we had it in the bag. We were after Lucho Gonzalez- went elswhere without a bid.. seeing a pattern here?

They have a name for people who are obsessed with telling everyone how "big" they are. ;)

As for the Corluka rumours, they don't make any sense to me. Particularly given the price (we would take a loss according to the rumours, IMO his value has increased) and the fact that it is supposed to be for us to fund the purchase of a recognised right back (which Corluka is).

On trial at Blackburn this week...
- Anthony Annan - "the new Pablo Aimar/Michael Essien"
- Julien Sable (St. Etienne / Lens)
- Paul Bayesse (Bordeaux)
- Dani Plancheria (Barcelona)

Not sure who Ince is using in scouting these players - hardly household names - but at least he is taking them on trial first rather than doing a Souness and signing another Ali Dia

With £10mn+ burning a hole in his pocket I hope Ince signs up a couple of other players before the season starts.

The club's administration are fully to blame for the Fernandes fiasco last year, but it is a bit rough to blame the administration for not signing Lucho, because Lucho himself said at the time that he wasn't interested in leaving Portugal. So I don't think Everton were ever in with a chance of signing him

Well, considering I was born in 1990, can't say 90s television would be my strong point.

Nearly ;)

Surely that's us paying you 1.5m to take him?
