I was a bit disheartened when I heard that but it turned out to be a former agent with no connection to swp. ian wright threatened to punch his lights out on the radio last night by all accounts.

I so hope that is like all the other bullshit rumours about Everton this summer.. like we've bid for Albelda, Milito etc.. cause there is no ****ing way we need Milner and no way is he worth 10mill. The club wouldn't even shell out 10mill for M'Bia.

From the Espanyol offal.

Pablo Zabaleta and Albert Riera have not taken part of this morning’s training session with Espanyol, in order to avoid any risk before completing their transfers to Manchester City and Liverpool, respectively. Whereas the 4-year deal between Zabaleta and City is complete, with the sky blues having assured Espanyol they are to pay the player’s contract cancellation sum (8 million €), Riera's transfer is to be resolved in the next few hours.

Both players are travelling this morning to Britain in order to undergo the perceptive medical tests with their new clubs.

It's probably Calderon trying to get an extra million or two added to the transfer fee.

I don't know why he'd bother with that though. Surely he'd be satisfied that another club is chasing one of his club's players, and that it'd be an honour to be a part of a big transfer deal. Oh, and there's the issue of Robinho being a slave at Real Madrid.
