Ramsey has agreed personal terms with United.

Will still speak to the other clubs.

Newcastle then to double the wages + transfer fee

Could probably afford it by shipping off that mercenary Owen.

:D :D

Speaking of turning on former idols, I'm kind of looking forward to posting the following one day (highlight to reveal)

Well, I'm ____ing glad that we sold that cheating, diving Portugese twat to Real Madrid. Glad we got 60mil out of them too. We're going to have a good laugh when they find out he doesn't perform in big games.

We've got Ashley now bus... not Freddy Shepherd.

Under Shepherd that was actually probably a chance at happening.

Only difference is Ashley would make his decision on this issue by using the red/black method at the cas, or tossing a coin.

:D :D

Yep, he's a ____ing lemon. What were they thinking ? :p

Seriously, he'll do well at Real Madrid. But if he waited a further three years and allowed his game to develop at United, he'll do even better.

With the internal politics and the managerial merry-go-round at Real Madrid, I don't think there will be any consistency in his development as a player. But if he waited until his mid to late 20s when his technique has matured, then he'll be able to deal with the issues at Real Madrid far more easily.

Zinedine Zidane didn't join Real Madrid until his late 20s. But because his game had been well established from his time at Juventus, he had a strong base to refine his game.

If i was Man United id make sure I got Robinho or Robben or maybe even both out of the deal. Who else they gonna get?

It'll be disappointing if he goes, but history shows that we've still prospered after great players have left us.

As long as we make Real Madrid pay a ridiculously high price for Ronaldo, I can live with it.

Yeah I guess, but it will suck ass.
If we're compensated highly, then i guess I will soon forget!!

I will be very disappointed when/if Ronaldo leaves. A great player, and I an happy we got a few great years out of him...

However, what I cant comprehend is how ONE player is worth 60 million pounds. And do Real Madrid even really need him. With a team that includes RvN, Raul and Robinho, surely another R will disrupt balance in the team.

Give me a few months to get over him leaving and I will be able to think normally...:(

That said 60million POUNDS!!!!!! Thats a shitload of cash and possible replacements...

Few things to do with us....

We've made two enquiries to West Ham about Dean Ashton. As long as we don't pay through our nose for him, I can see him being a good signing.

Valencia have expressed an interest in Jose Enrique, who they value at £7m. However, rather than cash some swap deals have been spoken about involving David Albelda, Nikola Zigic (taller than Crouch) or Manuel Fernandes.

Ashton signed a 5 year deal last night. You can enquire all you like. Forget it.

Last year he was only scoring the freaky goals. Once he gets the tap ins into his game he can score 15-20 for us next year

We've been told no, but there must have been something in it for us to go back a second time....

He hadnt signed the deal yet. Unless your gonna pay 15 mill then you got no hope. He had a poor year but he still scored 11 goals

With a full pre season and some more weight loss and hes gonna go bang I feel/hope.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton have all been given permission to talk to Ramsey (apparently)

United have agreed personal terms, but it's reported that he's a long way from making his mind up.

So Big Jo from Mos-co is joining/has joined for 20m??

What do you reckon Moombs? 33 goals (not counting pens.)?

I mean, you should expect that from a 20m striker, right... ;) He was (part) owned by Kia too isn't he?

Kia is still Jos agent bus. 20 million is ALOT of money for a unproven striker like Jo but money doesnt matter at Man City which isnt really a bad thing. A big risk but one they need to take

His last month or 2 were outstanding. With Henry :D by his side next year, they should be formidable.
